29TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 was successfully held on 30th June 2026 at Pullman Hotel Kuching, with the attendance of 32 Licensed Surveyors. The meeting commenced with the opening address by the President, Datu Sr Sudarsono Osman, who conveyed his sincere appreciation to all members for their continued support, commitment, and contributions towards the Association.

In his address, the President highlighted the achievements, progress, and key milestones attained by the Association throughout the year. He also acknowledged the invaluable efforts and dedication of the Council Members, Sub-Councils, and members in supporting the Association’s initiatives. He further encouraged continuous collaboration among members in strengthening the surveying profession and advancing the interests of Licensed Surveyors in Sarawak.

As the 29th AGM marked the election year for the new Council term, the existing Council session was formally dissolved prior to the nomination and election process. Sr Bernard Kiu Chiong Ting, a respected senior member of the Association, was appointed as the Chairman to oversee and conduct the nomination and election proceedings for the new Council Members for the 2026–2028 term.

The election process was conducted smoothly and successfully in accordance with the Association’s procedures. The Association extends its heartfelt congratulations and warmest welcome to the newly elected ACLS Council Members for the 2026–2028 term, namely Datu Sr Sudarsono Osman, Sr Haji Sulaiman bin Salleh, Sr John Cheu Teck Hook, Sr Bong Sen Kui, Sr Jonathan Ngu Liew Ing, Sr Luke Khiu Khon Sem, Sr Ts. Gs. Haji Masri bin Juni, Sr Chen Chee Joong, Sr Messio Anak Danggas, Sr Norman Chai Wuihern, and Sr Allen Hii King Kwong.

The new Council is entrusted to continue leading the Association with strong commitment, professionalism, and integrity, while working collaboratively towards achieving the Association’s objectives and safeguarding the interests of all Licensed Surveyors in Sarawak.
