As the Chairman, it is my great honor to launch this website for the Association of Consulting Licensed Land Surveyors Sarawak (ACLS). Our Association has a long-standing tradition of upholding professionalism, promoting integrity, and advancing the land surveying profession in Sarawak.

Geomatics or land surveying is not just about the measurements of land; it is about shaping the foundation for development, sustainability, and progress. Our role as Licensed Land Surveyors is critical in ensuring that land development is carried out with precision, accountability, and ethical responsibility. At ACLS, we are committed to maintaining these high standards while fostering innovation and growth within the profession.

Over the years, ACLS has served as a uniting platform for its members, emphasizing continuous professional development and adherence to ethical practices. We work closely with the Sarawak Land Surveyors Board and authorities to advocate the interests of our members and to address challenges that impact the profession. Our collaborative efforts ensure that Licensed Land Surveyors remain respected and valued contributors to Sarawak’s development.

Looking ahead, we are entering an era where technology and innovation will play an increasingly pivotal role in our field. All these advancement in digital technology and AI will have significant impact on the geomatics and surveying profession. It is essential that we embrace these advancements, enhance our skills, and adapt to evolving industry demands.

As Chairman, I am dedicated to leading the Association in initiatives that empower our members and ensure they remain at the forefront of the profession.
